Whatever is said in this thread, the bottom line is that the team that finishes at the top of the pile at the end of the season after 38 games deserves to be there. No question, no dispute.
The key to Leicester being where they are at the moment is a combination of several things. The whole range of management skills employed by the Manager; the ability of the Manager to get the best out of every single player on the pitch (is it any coincidence that Okazaki comes off after 60 minutes? I can see the instruction being: run yourself into the ground for an hour, and when your tank is empty, I'll bring on fresh legs for the last 30); the teamwork throughout the team; the belief that no one player on the pitch will let them down; the abilities of the players to bring the best out of themselves, and the best out of others around them.
Some people on here appear to begrudge Leicester the position they are in, and begrudge them the title should they clinch it. I think it should be more a case of Everton Football Club should take a good look at the Leicester model this season, then look at themselves, then hang their heads in shame. Overall, the abilities in the Everton squad outweigh those in the Leicester squad, but in terms of overall application, they are a million miles apart.
By the way, FOXINPEACE, I'm in Taverham.
