Leicester postponement

Yes but a good few of that team were from the Youth team which they can't play in league matches because not part of squad

They can play them if they wanted. We played Dobbin, Simms, Branthwaite, Onyango against Chelsea. Young players do not have to be named in the 25 man squad but are still eligible as under 21 players. You can have as many of them as you like.

They have chosen not to play the young players.

All it needs is a Covid ruling, where, if you have, say, 7 confirmed positive cases in the squad of 25, then you can postpone. You can choose to not play if you have 6 or less, but that is a forfeit and a 3-0 win to the opposition.
The only time this changes can be if there are no goalkeepers available.

Teams spend an absolute fortune on squads and youth development only to shy away from using them when they're actually needed. This could be a great opportunity to give these players they say have no experience, some experience.

Everybody is having a go at the Leicester fan here, but he is correct. Leicester City are not the ones at fault here, it's the Premier League.
Leicester can not be blamed for taking advantage of stupid Premiership rulings.
Leicester requested the cancelation, but it is the Prem that have cancelled the game and that is where any anger should be directed.

Totally agree that the league has allowed this whole crapshow to occur, and the rules are an absolute farce, but the Leicester fan is getting pelters cos he's condoning and trying to justify the actions of his club, when it is patently obvious that this is a shithouse trick to the benefit of Leicester city.

If he had just come on and said we're out of order but it's the league that's allowed it, he sure he wouldnt have got any stick.

On the back if the Leicester boys having a little jolly to the ally pally for the arrers, then fielding a team that battered another premier League in the cup, they suddenly have not enoughnplayers due to injury?

There should be only one measure - how many out with covid, and is there an outbreak or not?

If it's one or two, doesn't matter if backroom staff are affected, then they should have played us.

Every other team in the league should do this now, make a further mockery of the league, which has all the comparable integrity of Daniel sturriges legs.

It's been bent since utd started it all getting the postponement by shutting the training ground down, whilst having one if the biggest squads in the league.

Fully expect to see further rs games postponed until they get Salah and mane back now.

Jeez. I am not condoning it at all, I already made comment we are utilising a ridiclous rule to our own benefit.

The whole Tory thing is really weird by the way lollol

I can just imagine the PL giving Leicester the points as a punishment to us for trying to reschedule for the 2nd time.
