Just received an interesting phone call from a 'colleague' up the M62. Noises from Old Trafford is that this a done deal at £15m and to be completed within the next couple of weeks.

Same perosn who said about the gentlemans agreement during the Gibson deal.

Apparantly, this will gather pace over the next 7 days, so many ITK's with the club may starting hearing some rumours sooner rather than later

Cant see it. Theres absolutely NO need to sell Baines this summer. Plus, he wont walk into the first straight away anyway, will he want to chill on the bench, cant see it. Everything about this Baines to United **** doesnt make any sense at all to me.

Its amazing the amount of different opinions and rumours that go around the internet, just been reading on twitter from some lad say that baines has told efc he dont want to leave and add to that moyes has been told there may be a little money to spend, this lad who said this seems decent to had a look through his tweet history and no other bull**** tweets in there so you never know, or you will on sept 3rd at 17:01

they are direct posts, the number of there fans that want baines you could count on one hand, it gets as nice as 'he can put a decent ball in' and 'he would be good to give evra a rest against the lesser PL teams at home' they dont want/rate him we love/know exactly how good he is and that hopefully will see us over the line, remember all these posts saying 'done deal' and 'a mate told me' are bull**** as one of sheedy, lcab, tht would have said something, they may stay tight lipped about potential inns but if a star was leaving we would know about it already, that is not to say he aint going but that it is nowhere near a done deal

along with felli saying he wants a fast start it may not all be bad, just need that one season and this could be are chance, not convinced about the red****e being any better, with players ageing (bellamy, gerrard) and skrtle potentially going, add to that there is no way newcastle will finish above us and spurs may be in a bit of a mess plus rvp leaving you just never know, just need kentwat****e to find 10-15 mill fr moyes, we have done it before signing marcus bent and cahill so we can do it again
