If Baines leaves, its not really up to Baines, as such, of course he could try and block a move, but I would imagine if hes told to go, pride would make him leave.

I can't tell you lot of my associations, but I know that he is happy to see out his days with us, whereas the likes Fallaini(quite understandably)will be looking to play for a top tier CL club in the future. Tis' all I'm saying..

honestly, an ambitious chairman would look at these things and say you know what a little bit of a gamble could pay off with champs league place. This aint gunna be happening with us, but with the summer additions we could be rumoured to make, i wouldn't mind betting we will be close. Expecting chelsea to be a lot better and arsenal have bought fairly well so far and will get a fair deal for van persie probs. Liverpool and newcastle are nothing though, we just need to start the season strongly and none of this making sure we can't get relegated ****e from moyes for the fisrt few months again.

understandable, we should be looking to get double what we paid for him when we eventually do sell. Been following everton since the mid 90's, felli is head and shoulders the best player i've seen to pull on the royal blue

ok here goes.

Your mate is right that a bid HAS been submitted,but it has been rejected. The monetary value was too low and now there are discussions regarding one maybe two players in exchange. The details are still up in the air regarding permanent switch or loan deals. If he does leave,which is believed highly likely now,money will not necessarily be spent on a new left back as it is thought we could cover this position from within the current squad and money would be best spent elsewhere. From the same source,Fellaini offers would not be welcomed and he has given his word that he will not rock the boat and intends to stay for at least one more season.......cue the knives out for me

What was the monetary value offered and who are the possible part ex players?

I know it looks sus not knowing finer details but I heard it from about as reliable a source as you can possibly get. May sound as though I am full of it and i understand any scepticism.cheers

Cheers. Been on here for years but never really posted much even though at times had pretty decent stuff. No idea what the etiquette is or how anyone could possibly prove anything. ah well.
