Yes Freyers is nothing special and what is the point in taking Nick Powell on loan?

Powell played in League 2 last year, he's talented but there's no point in us bringing through Man Utd's youth players when we have the likes of Barkley who can't get a game, especially as Powell is also a centre midfielder. I'd also rather give Garbutt or Bidwell a game over Fryers, again there's no point in developing another teams youth.

Your mate is right that a bid HAS been submitted,but it has been rejected. The monetary value was too low and now there are discussions regarding one maybe two players in exchange. The details are still up in the air regarding permanent switch or loan deals. If he does leave,which is believed highly likely now,money will not necessarily be spent on a new left back as it is thought we could cover this position from within the current squad and money would be best spent elsewhere. From the same source,Fellaini offers would not be welcomed and he has given his word that he will not rock the boat and intends to stay for at least one more season.......cue the knives out for me

yeah i read that as well, wondering what it's all about really. He may just be taking the piss though because a lot of papers have been taking the piss i.e. deal was done 4 months ago etc
