on our board as you all know there is 1 billionaire and 2 board members whose fortune combined totals a billion..

Not convinced. He has another 5 years in him before he starts to decline, no doubt. But he's been playing at the top level for 10. The majority of his career is behind him. It's not like picking up a 20 year old who you can get more than a decade out of.

As someone said, the reported fee on offer is coming down every day... If a bid was made around 8-10m, then we'd have to be mental to accept it (Maybe we are). 15m and that would be a different story, I can't see why we'd sell him with so much other dead wood at the club.
