Baines cant do the flashy Pienaar stuff anymore because we don't have a Pienaar tye player that Baines trusts Baines is one of our better players, he reads the game, understands it, he cant bomb on not because he hasn't got the legs but because he cant be sure our dumbfook other players won't give the ball away and leav him stranded well ahead of the play. When the team improves, Baines will be just fine. He;s a great player still, a great pro and one of our better players still so leave him alone you savages, Baines isn't the problem by a long way.

Have always loved and appreciated Baines, but he hasnt just lost pace, he is actually to slow in finding the right pass and that is usually sideways or backwards and his ability to put a good cross in has halved...still respect him tho

Was hoping the rest on Thursday would do him good. Was all over the place 2nd half. It really doesn't suit his game not having someone out there on the left with him. Both him and Kenny struggled defensively and offered nothing going forward because of it.
