Will forever love Bainesy, but he's done unfortunately. Been painfully average the last 2 years, think it's about time we got a younger replacement.

was just about to post similar...he's not had the same high-end quality since Pienaar left the first time, and a better temperament would've kicked on from those two free-kick goals in one game to become consistently-killer at dead balls. As much as I like the fella, it's time to replace him.

Kieran Tierney is my pick to replace the great man.
Wouldn't mind Chilwell either. Tierney is interesting because it is possible he could be a left sided CB in the right system.

On Baines he just doesn't have the legs for it anymore. He's fine defensively but not dynamic at all.

Thought he did well, especially second half. Don’t get the negative comments after that. He’s a better player with someone to play into in front of him.

He wasnt great in possession last night( gave ball away too many times and incorrect decisions on free kicks and corners) and cannot understand his failure to go and get out and block crosses ( doesnt get out and turns his back on the cross) but the 2 central players are more worrying. Needs serious competition next season does bainesy. Having said that what a player he was for us.

Agree with most of what has been written, that I've read, and unfortunately the end is near but what a great player and servant he's been.
