I reckon he's really a Time Bandit who got stuck in the early 21st century and decided to pass the time as a professional footballer.

Not read the book but from what i have been told he is saying Moyes should of come out on the pitch last and not Cahill? Is this what people are moaning about?
I got off myself because i had no time for Moyes and was glad he was going, but Goodison was almost full for his big send off, how many of those who are moaning about Osmans comments now stayed behind to give Moyes a big send off? I know we all hate Moyes now but a lot of blues didnt back then, lets not rewrite history, cant blame Osman for saying this, at that same time the majority of the fans also wanted to give Moyes his big send off.
If you think Osman is wrong to write this you should of done what i did, and walked out on the final whistle

Mate, I think people's issue is, among others, that Osman suggested the send-off should have been only for Neville and Moyes and Cahill shouldn't have been involved at all.

To be honest my core issue is that Osman is a bad lickspittle wool who should retire asap

Behave mate. You're getting carried away with that bit. Lets not forget the work he did here because we've had 18 months of attractive footy under Martinez. I was fine with the applause he got. He saw his chance at a bigger club and wanted a fresh challenge; i've got no problem with that at all. Over-all though, his work here was certainly not mediocre.

I never thought about 18 months of Martinez mate, I was thinking more Royle and Kendall. Neither of whom recieved a send off like Moyes.

One Tim Cahill is worth a thousand Phil Neville's, sorry Ossie.

Cahill didn't get the chance for any other send off when we shipped him off to New York.

And Tim Cahill is/was worth an awful lot of Leon Osmans!

Not sure what else Osman can expect when he has a sly dig at his own fans. No player should ever discuss anything negative about their own team's fanbase, it never ends well.
