They don't exist, that would be silly. He has though himself alone been the difference between staying up and going down

Interesting, do you have his goals scored stats, his assists stats? I mean we have scored 38 league goals, so in order for him to have been the difference, he must have double figures for both, surely?

Well him and Ross are the only true number 10s in the whole squad IMO.

Mostly agreed. I think Ross is sort of somewhere between a CM and a #10, but your point is valid all the same.

A decent #10 who can also play on the left has got to be a priority this summer.

Following that skewed logic you could never be able to track eg Peter Reids impact on a side. Just look at the results. Have it your own way, it's just a weird coincidence, he's always been last and is getting worse

Peter Reid was a member of a very talented group of players, im sure nobody would claim he won us League Titles alone, the same way nobody would ever say Southall being the best Keeper of his generation won us Titles and Cups alone.

Its often said that Maradona won the World Cup on his own and whilst his contribution was invaluable, im pretty sure he didnt quite win it alone.

But here you are, claiming that Leon Osman kept us in the league, to quote, "Single handedly", well im sorry my Friend, but I take issue with that comment.

Did you think when I said single handedly that I was aware of games where Leon had faced teams in the premier league on his own? No, that was not what I meant. I meant, as I said above, that he had been the difference between staying up and going down

Maradona captained the Argentine national team to victory in the 1986 World Cup in Mexico, winning the final in the capital of Mexico City against West Germany.[56] Throughout the 1986 World Cup Maradona asserted his dominance and was the most dynamic player of the tournament. He played every minute of every Argentina game, scored 5 goals and made 5 assists, three of those in the opening match against South Korea at the Olimpico Stadium in Mexico City. His first goal of the tournament came against Italy in the second group game in Puebla.[57] Argentina eliminated Uruguay in the first knockout round in Puebla, and this meant that they were to play England at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City. After scoring two contrasting goals in the 2–1 quarter-final win against England his legend was cemented. The majesty of his second goal and the notoriety of his first led to the French newspaper L'Equipe describing Maradona as "half-angel, half-devil".

So again, can you supply me with the number of goals and assists Leon Osman has provided the team whilst "been the difference between staying up and going down"
