I just think we are out-growing him now, need other options. Need to keep him in the squad, as he can be a good little player at times.

That 2 year contract was worth it alone just to keep some home grown established figures in the dressing room for the new manager. Whether he plays or not he is still influential to are, what is apparently, great team spirit. Don't think enough people realise how big a part this plays at a football club.
Umm we should of maybe offered him or created a new role as a court jester to keep the troops happy ..and maybe not offered him a footballing contract..I kind of agree with you about the spirit etc ...but one player at Everton does not create the dressing room..and as its a forum and about opinions . I'll stick with tara.. and rather see John Lundstram given a go instead of him..

He is an abysmal footballer, we need to jettison, and replace with better, to progress.

That's a footballing opinion, not personal, I'm sure he's good with kids, kind to animals and provides an excellent BJ to the manager for picking him.
He's nothing like abysmal, nor abysmal at this level. He shouldnt be a starter anymore and surrounded by better players like he is, he comes out of it looking bad but why some people have to massively overstate the case against him, I don't know.

I love Ossie. Leave him alone ffs.

I 2nd this. All the slating and abuse Ossie gets is ridiculous especially from so-called supporters. F-ing support the club and its players.

Got a lot of top professional footballers in here I see. I appreciate opinion but if you can't do better shut up and stop being to negative towards our little Ossie.

Supporters support.

He's not abysmal like. He's just not very good anymore. But it's worth having him just for the dressing room. Hopefully he'll stay on as a coach and we can rinse and repeat that type of stuff.

One thing that noticeable, our new ultra positive, over praising manager has not (to my knowledge) even mentioned Osman in any of his press conferences or interviews. Moyes couldn't get through a press talk without finding a way to praise him or his attitude. Maybe this speaks volumes over his new pecking order in the team. Although I goin to contradict myself and say I think Osman will start on sat simply because Barry has zero competitive minutes under his belt and McCarthy has played 2 games in a week.
