Utter, utter drivel. He touched the ball FOUR times in the second half. McCarthy had more influence on the second half than Osman. If Barry, Gibbo and McCarthy are all fit Osman is a sub.

Better pass completion and higher rate of success than Barry.

Figure that out smart arse

Osman looks like a league one squad player. End debate.

Seems most posters here aren't actually interested in "debate" or "discussion". Just parrot the same lines over and over, regardless of the player's actual performance.

If you think his performance was that of a League 1 player, you don't watch much footie at all. "End debate".

What!? Am not a massive fan if osman if am honest but to say that in the second half he never played really well your just seeing what you want to see. Boy played well, got some integral interseptions and cleared the ball well.

Ffs can't even win without the lad getting crap.

He got caught out a few times, played 2 suicide balls. But other than that he had a good game, got stuck in, looked tricky in the final third.

Barry though.

He tries to run/dribble his way out of trouble too often I think, and he's a bit slower off the mark than he used to be, always makes me nervous. I know Barkley does it too but he's a lot younger and less experienced.

He grew into the match and got better, he did enough and at the end of the day was part of a team that did very well beating and keeping at bay what is a very very good Chelsea side.

It's clear he's probably behind Barry Gibson and once settled Mcarthy for a CM role, so give the lad a break as a 4th choice that's not a bad 4th choice to have!

Hope Martinez has the balls to do the right thing and drop him to the bench where he belongs. Invited so much pressure from Chelsea with his idiotic passing and general decision making while adding practically zero going forward.
