the 'role' that maloney played, is being already played by a much better and gifted player than osman, in Barkley.

spot on, I'd also rather Mirallas or Gerard played there ahead of Osman, Maloney is also much more mobile than Osman

I disagree, i think pienaar is one of the most creative players at the club. Got a great eye for a pass and his link up play with Baines is second to none

The biggest difference between pienaar and Osman is Pienaar can move the ball forward quickly

best thing that could happen to the lad. Hope we draw Bolton or the like in the next round of the League Cup, Collymore convinces Osman to turn up for some dogging only to be confronted by Aki with half of Goodison hoping he fooks some life into him. Should be nippier around the pitch but he'll get megged a lot.

I only watched the second half, but I thought Ossie did well. Did well to relieve pressure and bring the ball out of our half.

Utter, utter drivel. He touched the ball FOUR times in the second half. McCarthy had more influence on the second half than Osman. If Barry, Gibbo and McCarthy are all fit Osman is a sub.

Have to agree with this, one of his touches today when passing the ball to a Chelsea player led to him staring at the moon while Chelsea broke at speed.

He should now be understudy to Barkley.....one more shocking moment was his shot blazed over from the centre of goal.
