He did OK today. Nothing startling, but OK. It'll be interesting to see how he responds to not being guaranteed a starting place. I'm happy to see him start against the lesser teams at home, especially if we've got a midweek match. His legs have gone a bit but he still has a role to play for us.

He was good today. Great turn and pass to set Oviedo away for the fourth. Looked fresh and it was good to see. He's thirty plus now and if used correctly could be a good asset to the squad.

Good assessment of the situation, this is a player that has regularly disappeared against the better teams, particularly away from home.

My eyesight's not what it was, was that Ossie ? I stand corrected then. The boy from Billinge did well and I'll watch it on the telly tonight and enjoy it again.

True, he was alright in that sense but didn't do enough to create IMO. Having said that, Pienaar was on fire so maybe it was just a case of giving it to him.

Maybe on another day I'd be saying how well he played, but some outstanding performances from others overshadowed him.
