Leroy Fer

Us trimming a few hundred thousand off his price will mean more money for another signing if we're looking at one lads, worth a punt to see if we can do it.

We really shouldn't have put it up on our OS until we signed him, in retrospect.

Annoyed isn't the word, never easy eh lads?

If the lad's medically alright, then we should just sign him and not fuss over a few hundred thousand (probably) on an already agreed deal. My morale which soared last night has now crashed right back down. If we don't sign him (or anyone else) then a fair bit of optimism will evaporate.

A lot of conjecture I know.

A win and him being unveiled at half time tomorrow will be just the tonic (y)

I agree but the win is more important in my opinion, I just fear that if isn't sorted before the game then fans will be feeling at bit pessimistic about it all.

lets just wait and see all these journo ,s are just posting the same stuff that was posted on here at about 9,30 everton are doing the right thing as far as I can make out and I hope we will get this fella,

sean Davies plodded along a bit before biting the dust, Lescott deal looks a bit like this one , hopefully the clubs can sort something out, sounds like he got a c minus in his examination which is a pass, not a fail but not that good either

If he gets fluid on the knee due to his medical condition then he will be like Pip and Gibson in which is injury will have to be managed thus he wont be able to string a run of games together.

If everton cannot get insurance for his condition then they could buy him and risk loosing the player in the future with no resale value.

Bottom line is if we have done our business early in the window we would,nt be scrambling around at the death and we know why that is Edge.

We really shouldn't have put it up on our OS until we signed him, in retrospect.

But all we put up on the OS was that a deal has been agreed on between EFC and Twente and that Fer was travelling over for a medical. Common sense tells you that the agreed upon deal would go through as agreed pending everything works out in the medical. The medical didn't go as expected so the original cards are off the table. So the Twente manager's comments are a bit ludicrous, and totally unfair.

But word has it that liquid will be drained from the knee of the horse that Fer bought for his Julie, and that will be injected into his own knee to bring him up to 100% health.
