and all the other joke transfers too

I think you'll find that the blueloonyverse
pretty much covers everything

Shut up bill and get on fers horse!

Good to see you about mate.

I'm torn on this one. I'm in anguish because Leroy looks really good and, provided he stays healthy, should be a sure thing to do well for us. Then our doctors say that there's some concern with his knee. Are they being overly cautious? Have re-injuries to Rodwell, Mirallas, Gibson, Coleman, etc really shown our doctors in the best light? Could this actually be an under-handed play to fabricate a knee issue and use it to re-negotiate on false pretenses?

My concerns with the Everton side of things aren't very logical, I admit. There's probably a 98% chance that there really is an issue (however small) with Fer's knee and Everton are only doing their due diligence by trying to get concessions due to a potential injury risk. Still, after the abyssmal loan failure of Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe, it's hard to believe that yet another deal is going to fall through at the last minute. I have to blame someone! I'm not particular about who I blame at this moment in time.

Not like it wasn't going to get out once he arrived at FF...moot point, really.

Let the media speculate. Part of my job is to do with public relations, has taught me to always think seriously about committing to something you don't have to!

This has made us look a tad foolish unnecessarily, though if we do get him in for a tad cheaper (best case scenario) then happy days.

Good to see you about mate.
tbh mate ive had a year from hell and 6 months of big changes , so not had much time for interwebbing and stuff .
always a smidgen of time for evertons transfers though :)

as for this deal i think it will be done , even if it for all sides to keep some credibility.

IF (by some miracle) it is sorted by tomorrow, the place will have that Jelavic and Mirallas buzz (against City and United) where the whole ground was up for it and under the flood lights the grand old lady was electric. If we get told its fell through and that the deal is off tomorrow, it could have the opposite effect. Everyone will be pissed off (even not knowing the finer details), Neville will have the worst game of his life and we'll probs get beat to top it off.

Wouldn't be the same without a rollercoaster ride ... it's the everton way.

sorry to hear that fella hope 2013 brings better luck you're way! miss your posts!

Im sure we'll come to some arrangement as FC Twente want the money aswell to make there own signings!.

i'm sure they will be more than happy to keep him you know... they only need to sign replacements if he goes. its about them getting enough money for him to get those replacements in! they fully well know if the lad continues to play like he is he'll have suitors in summer that will pay more than we are offering now
