tbh mate ive had a year from hell and 6 months of big changes , so not had much time for interwebbing and stuff .
always a smidgen of time for evertons transfers though :)

as for this deal i think it will be done , even if it for all sides to keep some credibility.

Sorry to hear mate, hope things are on the up! You've been missed!

sorry to hear that fella hope 2013 brings better luck you're way! miss your posts!

cheers buddy , good to be back (hijack of thread but yea - i lost my auntie + step dad to cancer and my daughter was knocked over by a nutter jumping a red light and was pretty badly mashed up , all in the space of a week - which also just happened to also be my busiest week at work , halloween 2011 , and during my house being renovated and totally gutted.
it was total chaos to say the least. took 4 months to sort out house just in time for my daughter to come out of hospital , 12 months for daughter to recover fully , also had to keep my mum from going under from depression and the business from going under ..... but it took its toll on my relationship of 16 years . so i ended it and with my daughter moved out and started again from scratch in the past summer. found new love , got engaged , just found a house and moving in next week and married in 3 months. onwards and upwards as they say :)

All based on player power now, Everton have changed the payments, it's down to how Twente feel about this and whether they would risk keeping an unhappy player for the sake of 3 month delay of core payments.

Deals of this nature are always going to be complicated. Ultimately it's a big deal for the club so there's bound to be a bit of tension and amateur dramatics at the 11th hour. Surely we should be applauding the board for playing hardball for once. The deal will happen but it has to be on our terms!

I think the club are hoping that player power will win the day in our favor but this lot seem hard nosed and for that reason I,am calling this dead on arrival.

48hrs left.

We do have an amazing tendency to get ourselves in these kinds of situations. Didn't take a risk on a free transfer Demba Ba (how many games has he missed with his knee injury and how many goals as he scored?!), so can't see us budging much on this. Then again signed Gibson and Mirallas who have missed more games than they've played - what is it with our medicals?

Yeah.
Basically passed his medical but EFC felt that his knees could cause some form of problem within the long term so they want to alter the payments to protect themselves i.e Appearance based etc.
Think for the limited funds we have EFC have every right to do this.
Although, people close to the club have said all three parties involved want the deal to be done, just a waiting game now i guess.
