The Everton twitter account just followed the Twente twitter account. Now some serious business can be done.

Knowing us, it'll end up like this:

Only with Twente requesting the paperwork off us in the last minute on deadline day...

...players have injuries...it leaves scar tissue...i isn't rocket science to anticipate that...and the club have brought players not 100& after medicals previously.

There's really nowhere to go with that 'they're being sensible' line. They're reneging on a deal that was agreed and using this old injury as an excuse.

Clowns.

If I had known you were so close to the negotiations and to the medical I would have asked you to take photos and get some autographs. Let us know when they will call you up again for your expert advice and analysis please!

For months there's been time to prepare targets to pursue in this January window. We're here (again) at the death trying to cobble together deals allowing no time whatsoever for failed medicals/terms unagree etc to move to targets B, C, D....

Obviously if this one goes west but the club sign a couple of decent players by tomorrow night, then it all ends well. I have zero faith that will happen though. Regardless of your position on Fer and his injury risk, that'd be unforgivable.

How do you know the club hasnt been chasing targets from the 1st of Jan Davek?

Watch how many deals go through between now and tomorrow with alot of Prem clubs, Does that mean there all doing it wrong as well?

That is my worry, then you get Bill saying it was too late to do anything else but we did all we could. Why not do the deals last week so there was no last minute rush?

If he,s got it then he,s got it but every deal has different payment structures, fees etc etc.

3m down for one team may not be enough for another club and we could be gazumped.

I agree

But the money there regardless

Ok lets say the Fer deal falls through becasue we dont want to risk a large sum on a player with a knee problem and Moyes doesnt see another target woth going for in this window, How is that the boards fault

I doubt he has all his eggs in one basket but you never know. The fans won't see it like that, all the fans will see is another failed transfer window. I can see what you're saying but i think with past transfers cock ups it is a very volatile situation between the board and the fans.

His agent has just published this on FC Twente Online

Fer's agent Rob Jansen: Can't say anything right now. We're still working very hard, you can count on that.
