If the kid has dodgy knees, we should swerve this one. No point in buying players who sit on the sidelines. We already have two......

spend the money else where.

Moyes never came out with commens re vegard forren, He has with Fer. If he's come out and said he thinks he's a real good talent and prospect, I believe him, Also with nearly every person who has seen him regular they all say the same thing 'great player, everton getting a bargain, future of dutch international football' all those comments must mean he is a good player.

Your right mate, Because people are saying hes going to a big talent he must be a future great

Van Basten on Ryan Babel

"He has all the potential to become the next Thierry Henry," he said. "The pace, movement, finishing, feel for the game ? it's all there. If he keeps developing and improving there is no saying what he might achieve in the game."

That means what like?

Loads on here claiming hes a good player and fuming over a lad theve never seen play once

Just because Moyes has had his scouting team on him does not mean his going to be a good player

The Dutch National Coach has seen him play and called him up the national team.

From Twente's perspective, they don't need to sell him now for the money, but if they do they need to get another player or two in (they want Djuricic from Heerenveen and maybe Claudemir from Copenhagen). Why would they agree to a fee based on appearances? They're not up against it and are doing fine with their squad currently as it is. I also heard from a Dutch friend of mine that Munsterman is a [Poor language removed] of a negotiator.

Maybe the deal will fall through in which case I hope we have someone else lined up, but it will probably still go through, with us adhering to the terms of the original agreement.

This on SSN? how do you know hes not there?

He will still be in Liverpool probably, I highly doubt they flew him back to holland straight away. Waste of time.
He will stay untill tonight, DM has said theres a deadline (before K.O tonight)
Now it only takes around an hour to fly from Amsterdam to Liverpool, so why should be not go back and wait, it's not like he can't be here for tonight.

Your right mate, Because people are saying hes going to a big talent he must be a future great

Van Basten on Ryan Babel

For all Holland's renown for producing world-beaters up front, current national coach Van Basten stands comparison with the best and will always be remembered for the stunning volley from a seemingly impossible angle that left Russia's keeper Rinat Dassayev grasping at air in the 1988 European Championship final in Munich.

The vision that made him one of the eminent members of a multi-talented AC Milan side now extends to spotting talent for his home country and he had no doubts about Babel's pedigree.

"He has all the potential to become the next Thierry Henry," he said. "The pace, movement, finishing, feel for the game ? it's all there. If he keeps developing and improving there is no saying what he might achieve in the game."

And what like? Babel had BAGS of potential He could have easily been a great player, He just didn't have the mental aptitude to do it, I believe from what i've read about Fer that he would have, And i think yes it may be a risk but he could easily be worth double what we pay for him if he proves himself on the pitch for us.

You can't compare Fer, Lescott, Ba etc....

Every player is different, just because these players all seem to have dodgy knees it doesn't mean that their injuries and conditions are identical.
