always liked the look of him and thought it was a shame his Derby spell didn't produce fireworks

football isn't always that straight forward though.

he certainly has pace and a sharpness to him. hopefully the gola boosts his confidence and his chances of playing under dyche. another impressive display on Saturday and he's in line for a start v Fulham

Dont wanna go all Big Oil here, but we should at least give the lad a few games before we go and waste 30m on that midget from Leeds.
We were talking about him 1 or two preseasons ago and people were bringing up a lot of the same points they are now. I think a lot of it boils down to whether a manager fancies your abilities or not. Maybe we are about to see if Dyche has an eye for ability here or it’s just another dud. Either way he looks promising to me.

It all boils down to can the lad handle the crowd noise, the physicality and the lights? Mentality is important. If you can drown the drama out and deal with the physicality you will probably have a successful career. It helps to have a manager behind you as well. No better opportunity than with McNeil injured

Based purely on the fact that he didn't shrink in that game at Stamford Bridge under Benitez, my guess is that he may be able to handle it

It’s a difficult one with him. I’d like to keep him because he’s been bright in preseason but we need goals in the side and that’s the one thing he’s been poor at (finishing). He probably deserves a chance but what’s best for his development and us is for him to go out on loan and for us to bring in a more experienced attacker. Hopefully the loan will be to the Championship and he bags a few and can come back next season with a point to prove.

…ridiculous. Now is the best chance of breaking through at Everton that he’ll ever have.

Start him Saturday and if he plays well get him involved against Fulham at home. Has abit about him and Id never judge a player on a loan move.

Time to give these lads a chance instead of spunking money on over priced players.

Same with Jarod. Get him in with Tarky from the start at Fulham and let them build a partnership. Will be mistakes but need stick with these lads

not really. He’s only 20 and has had only one loan move. A Championship loan to make the next step up would be a good move. Remember Danjuma is only a loan so he can quite easily come back next year and become another option for us.

If we have the money still to reinforce then I’d bring in someone more experienced and send him out on loan. If we don’t have the money then keep and develop.
