If he goes on loan it doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a future at Everton either. It’s quite feasible he stays and Dyche doesn’t use him. It’s happened at clubs in the past.

It all boils down to can the lad handle the crowd noise, the physicality and the lights? Mentality is important. If you can drown the drama out and deal with the physicality you will probably have a successful career. It helps to have a manager behind you as well. No better opportunity than with McNeil injured
