...blown away. Probably lots of reasons, but just have to accept a smashing at the worst place possible. We've been here before, some of us many times. Not quite Glen Keeley, but it could've been even worst than 4-0.

They had no Enrique, Johnson, Agger, Sakho, Lucas or Allen. Like it or not the fact is they are better than us hands down due to their attacking ability, injuries aren't an excuse.

Bet you don't often call them 'They', - apart from when you're on here.

New subscriber, I see.

Naismith is a decent forward but we played him on his own, he ran in channels but didn't have support. I thought his general play was good, he anticipated balls well and tried his best so I don't think giving him a stick is fair. We should try with 2 up top linking together and it will deffo work out.

So proud of Roberto last night, the results been now, he picked his best 11, the team I wanted him too and it didnt work, 5hit happens and we go again against Villa.

Its a blip, a bump in the road, its just unfortunate it came against the RS. As good as John Stones is though, the kid isnt a RB...but before the game i was happy he went with him over hibbo.

But while blues were going mental on twitter, the defense was all at sea and the poolies were loving it...the guy stood there, on the edge of his technical area, all night in the pi55ing down rain and didnt fkin flinch once! No hiding away, no sulking in the dugout, stood there and fronted 45000 of the b@stards and i fkin love him even more for it.

Ive absolutely no doubt that man will lead us to great things once more.

I do know what you mean on this. His post match comments were also spot on. No excuses or bull **** just an admission they let the fans down and weren't good enough.

Roberto won't panic. Nothing is decided in January in the league. 4 points is nothing. We must now give villa a good seeing too and it's vital the fans get behind the lads on Saturday.

Tactically he was out thought tonight but he will learn and move on. We must learn quickly as well as Villa will lay a similar style trying to hit on the break.

Only having Naismith on his own caused us big problems last night, they didn't have to hold back at all. Also Alcaraz is nearly as slow as Gueye and this doesn't help against the two best strikers in the league

two late fitness tests to our centre backs and a make shift right back were exposed by a very good liverpool attack.

howard should never have committed himself for their 3rd.

Strikers win games, doesnt matter if you're weak defensively or in the midfield, if you have that kind of pace on the counter attack you'll beat most teams in the Premier League. They're still a massively average side apart from their strikers though, i still stand by that. An off night for the Blues doesnt/wont change my opinion.
