Considering the lack of quality we have in certain areas, we did ok tonight.
Massive rebuilding needs to be done.
A fair few did well tonight, Martina was very dodgy but the other 3 in defence did well as did Snides and McCarthy sigs and Bolasie all did ok. Rooney was very poor as was DCL also Pickford dived to early for the pen and made the ultimate mistake.

Gutted but would like to take some positives from it. Siggy looked comfy central. Bolasie is now putting us on the front foot. Lookman did well. We have 2 cracking young players in Kenny and Holgate. If we carry on playing like that and this Tosun is actually better than DCL and Naisse then things could pick up.

Better performance than the last game there but we actually got a point back then and come away losers tonight.

I honestly believe that the future looks good with the likes of Pickford (at fault tonight though) Lookman, Vlasic, Kenny and Holgate. The improvement from the latter 2 is really encouraging. Bolasie caused them problems tonight and helped us relieve pressure. Saying that I thought the old man Jags had a great game.

I am remaining positive and just hope Alladyce gets the left back and maybe another striker in and a top notch midfielder.
Yes to all that and Jags MoM for me .

Better performance tonight. If we carry on like that , we'll soon be moving up the table .

I agree is was a better performance but we still lost. It's a fine balance and just hope Alladyce brings in the right players to address the balance. It was good to see 2 wingers causing problems and would be nice if Alladyce sees it as the way forward

Rome wasn’t re-built in a day and, (back to the PL), I think we’ll lose to Spurs. But if we can keep the ball on the grass, I reckon we’ll scare the pants off West Brom. I would still bite your hand off for a 0-0 if it were offered right now, but west brom (whilst they might be every bit as good as us), are beatable

Hopefully Allardyce will learn from tonight that there is more than one eay to play.

On a horrible day to be an Evertonian the boys gave it a good go tonight. Just seen the pen decision. Joke.

If we play with the same comnitment for the rest of the season we'll be fine. Special word for Jags. In the 30 mins I saw he was brill.
