The scum bag Tony Evans has just been on Talk Sport moaning about Everton fans singing songs about Hillsborough and he is worried we might sings about it on Sunday...... needless to say none of the songs he mentioned have anything to do with Hillsborough

I thought it may be too complex Jimi so I simplified it a little but still kept the good, solid, foundations of my staple journalistic talent at the forefront of my opening statement.

Glad you noticed it too and for just £5.99 a week you can subscribe to my new podcast "maccas memories" where I sit down with such celebrities as my mum, the lady who used to serve me in Sayers the Bakers and my next door neighbour whose name I don't know after living next to them for 8 years, as I take a trip down memory lane.

I am up there with the most hopeful of all Everton supporters, I start off being very rational and looking at our games in a very realistic way but the closer it comes to kick off the more hopeful I become. By kick off I have convinced myself that, in spite of all the evidence to the contrary, our squad will suddenly discover a backbone and turn in a preformance. I have done this countless times over the years and countless times, as we all know, that backbone never turns up. For this Sunday I am going to pretend we have no game. I am going to do my best not to recognise the fact that Everton are playing.
I will keep an eye on Burnley in the hope that Wolves tank them, that is the best result we can realistically hope for this weekend.
If Leicester can give the run around, what will lpool do, this could be a cricket score.

No, that's right.. there is no PGMOL conspiracy. It's just a small coincidence that the referee overseeing Burnley win 2-0 on Thursday (Atwell) is now officiating the Mersey Derby.

It's also just a small coincidence he refereed Liverpool v Watford just two weeks ago, Everton's annihilations at Palace and Spurs. Liverpool's win over Villa (1-0) penalty win over Chelsea in the FLC, Everton's disappearing act (0-3) at City, the dubious 0-1 (it wasn't a corner) loss to West Ham

So that's
Everton 0-1 0-3 0-5 0-4
Liverpool 1-0 0-0 (cup win), 2-0

And Burnley's win..
Coincidence. I don't buy in to any conspiracy theories about football. I'll admit that some referees are homers, some are bottlers and some are too bloody stupid, but that's about it as far as I'm concerned

Perhaps we should try something different here. Stop trying to match our best against theirs. give some people a rest. Do a Chelsea away...

Pickford
Kenny - Branthwaite - Holgate - Godfrey
- Delph -
Gordon - Doucoure - DVB- Iwobi
Richarlison

Some of our players do not like these lot.
Gordon and Iwobi need to keep their fullbacks close.

Seems stupid now I've written it down but were screwed anyway!

Lambs to the slaughter....

If Leicester can give the run around, what will lpool do, this could be a cricket score.
Won't have to worry about this fixture next season....?

Type of fella who would've found this banner hilarious. Part of that famous Scouse wit.
