I think our ridiculous injury record this year is partly down to a lack of commitment, and nothing will convince me otherwise. It can't all just be bad luck.

The idea of minor injuries at this crucial point of the season is pretty ridiculous to me.

No, that's right.. there is no PGMOL conspiracy. It's just a small coincidence that the referee overseeing Burnley win 2-0 on Thursday (Atwell) is now officiating the Mersey Derby.

It's also just a small coincidence he refereed Liverpool v Watford just two weeks ago, Everton's annihilations at Palace and Spurs. Liverpool's win over Villa (1-0) penalty win over Chelsea in the FLC, Everton's disappearing act (0-3) at City, the dubious 0-1 (it wasn't a corner) loss to West Ham

Liverpool 1-0 0-0 (cup win), 2-0

good chance someone's getting sent off, I looked on paddy power for the odds and couldn't see it listed.

I'd be making it abundantly clear that nobody should be getting sent off unless it's to guarantee a result late on - none at all.

We simply can't afford to lose players for three games with such important fixtures and other injuries; we've got to look at the bigger picture.
