Lennon has been woeful at RWB although I would rather him than Kenny tbh. Frustrating as Mccarthy has been played there under Koeman at the start of the season and done an okay job but once again he put his national side ahead of us and is out again.

Barry no doubt will play and cost us. Carbon copy of not closing Kane down with Coutinho scoring outside the box will happen if he plays.

I remember Lennon played at a right-back against Reading last season in the cup and wasn't too convincing. RWB is a slightly different role though, one of his best traits as a winger is his tracking back and getting up both ends of the pitch so I could see it working.

Really hope Barry doesn't start, I don't wanna join the hate train for him but this just isn't his type of game against an energetic midfield. Against the likes of Hull and WBA at home, sound, his class will show through as he'll have time on the ball and the game won't be played in our half of the pitch, but not against the likes of Liverpool, Spurs, Chelsea etc...

I got a ticket in the home section of the Anfield Road Stand. Would you recommend not celebrating an Everton goal? Would the stewards ask me to leave in the worst case?
We'd have to score first. Honestly if we were to get a injury time winner you'd go mad, whatever you'd planned before. Honestly we've got to win here this season or it could well be 20 years since we last won there which is beyond ridiculous.

I think you have to look at it from this point of view. There's no Reina, no Agger, No Alonso, no Gerrard, no Sterling, no Suarez, no Torres. Liverpool aren't that good, they were very lucky to beat us at Goodison, plus they have huge weaknesses in their side. My personal view is we have no excuse really for not being able to go there at get at least a draw, It's not like when they had Suarez, Sterling and Gerrard a few years ago, we can't really going in to this like we're playing City or Chelsea, we're playing a side on the same level as us. I think our fans have suffered through so many awful derby performances at Anfield in recent years, I'm not sure our fans will be as forgiving if we lose on Saturday.

Yep and he will waddle over trying to block the shot and do what he always does and turn his back on the ball when coutinho shoots

Unbelievably I'm going to be missing this and I'll be watching it later. Last time that happened was the 'Cadamarteri' derby so I'm hoping that's a positive sign, trying to avoid the score is going to be a right ball ache

For me it depends what attitude Koeman wants to adopt in this game. If we go super defensive like Spurs, which I fear will be the case (Koeman seems to over-respect teams like Liverpool), then it'll be the same old story unfortunately.

If we go for it we have a chance - they can't defend and we'd be almost guaranteed a goal with the attacking talent we have. Their defence is their weakness so why not go for it?

I agree we try to defend it won't work but also we can't go for " it "that's suiting them to a tee. Any team doing that they beat them,we need a balance so defend then counter is our best hope

Think this one will come down to tactics. There's very little between the 2 sets of players. They don't have anyone on Rom's level though.

Joel
Holgate Jags Williams Baines
Gana Morgan Davies
Ross Lukaku Kev

I think it's important the Morgan is fit. Gueye needs to patrol towards Holgates flank. And Kev gets the nod cause he usually performs ok at the pit.
