I got a ticket in the home section of the Anfield Road Stand. Would you recommend not celebrating an Everton goal? Would the stewards ask me to leave in the worst case?

Well. You usually have to be in their box most times to win a pen. And we rarely are at their place.

Quite possibly. In recent memory I don't recall many obvious pens we've missed out on there though.

I remember being convinced we'd go on and finally win there, they were an awful side and their arses had gone after we went 2-1 up. Then Timothy Howard flattened Kuyt for no reason.

I've only been to one Anfield derby...and we won 2-0!

And whilst the joy of that day, some 30 or so years ago, still holds immutable currency, the doom of subsequent 30 or so years of mostly 'bottling it', and failure at Mordor, threaten its debasement.

I harbour little hope toward our redressing 'Everton that' this weekend...

..I remember Pat Nevin getting taken out at the knee (by Burrows I think) in the box at Anfield Rd end. Hand on heart, it was the most stonewall penalty you will ever see. I looked immediately at the perfectly positioned ref and could hardly believe it when he waved Play on. That referee was Keith Hackett who is the Referee Supremo. I'm sure others have similar memories.
