Thought we'd lose but now without Coleman and Mori it looks bad. Defence is going to be out of sorts at the worst moment.

Hopefully we can pull something out of the bag though. We always lose this fixture not because of injuries, ability or the quality of their players, but because we lose the mental battle. If we show some bottle there's always a chance.

its all good in the hood we got Holgate and jags and even reserve captain Kenny

Watching the end of that carragher interview has just made me furious. Confirms what I've felt for ages that we have too many nice guys in the team, hope when Koeman finally gets rid of the old guard he brings in some genuine winners.

I'm amazed mate at this. Given our history in this fixture!

Need to start shifting away from this mentality, it's become a real monkey on our back.

Look at the teams who have got a result at Anfield this season - it wouldn't be amazing. We should go there looking/expecting to win.

Which is my growing confidence, the management's mentality has changed and it'll change with the players in time. We'll find out how far we are on Saturday.

I got a ticket in the home section of the Anfield Road Stand. Would you recommend not celebrating an Everton goal? Would the stewards ask me to leave in the worst case?

If Barkley scores the winner from 40 yards in the 96th then let it rip my friend. I'll cover you. I've a big family.

A lot riding on Koemans mentality here - if he produces a Moyes-like try-not-lose lineup like Spurs away - we are f*****d

But then again - thats how a lot of teams have got results against them this season - nullifying the pressing game by just sitting back and leaving them with nothing to press .... this is why I am not a football manager

Irrespective of the result, I would be happy if we had a right go at them for 90 mins (not 45, like last game): that would be a major step forward and a good indicator of our progress (However I think Gaz Baz will be selected and will be overrun, sadly).
