We were all bricking it at the thought of Barry starting against City and look how that turned out.

That Carragher foul on Lescott was ridiculous. Then again Clattenburg had just been on a pre season tour with Liverpool helping himself to a club watch. Didn't one of the refs have a Gerrard poster in his house as well?

Don't know if it's been mentioned but we've only scored one goal at Anfield since 2011. Jermaine Beckford got our last one before Jags.

I got a ticket in the home section of the Anfield Road Stand. Would you recommend not celebrating an Everton goal? Would the stewards ask me to leave in the worst case?

With a bit of luck, wind in the right direction etc etc you'll be the only one left in there with ten minutes to go! They don't hang around very long in there if it's going pear shaped!
