I'd say he's drastically understating it

This century, Everton have won 4, drawn 12 and lost 20 of the derbies we have played. An entire generation of Everton fans have been brought up on being terrified of playing Liverpool. I can remember being at school in the 90s but looking forward to derby games and our record was pretty decent in them, considering how dreadful we were for most of that decade.

More than anything the mentality that has permeated the fans and the club over the last generation has to change

If it gets a few of them to man up finally in a Derby then good on him for saying it
 

Nothing to be afraid about, we match them, player for player, very well. We've got issues at the back, but so do they. They can score, so can we.
Lukaku is going devour their back four. Barkley is going cause them fits. Gana is going to shut down their midfield.
This a Liverpool squad with as many issues as we have. They had better be afraid of us.

We have the top goalscorer and the most in-form team in the Premier League. Nothing to be scared of here. Let's be confident.

Embarrassing is them 'Ole' ing and take the pure p1ss then laying it off for Lucas to have a shot from outside the box resulting in Klopp and all their bench laughing their heads off!! thats was embarrassing.............
