I think he's nailed on to stick with him to the end of January and the following month to see how that works out. If we're in danger after that, I think Benitez will be gone.

There's some confusion amongst those wanting Benitez out about Moshiri I think. He went to some length to get Benitez in and he must have been told by the manager himself that he was likely to face major challenges this season given the squad he inherited and that PFF had snookered him. They'll have both been planning for this and resolving to stick it out.

I just cant see Moshiri doing what he did in the past and panicking into a dismissal.
So you think he's gonna get til the end of February and if we're in danger, then he goes.

Have you seen the fixtures we have between now and then compared to March, April and May.

If he gives him that period and we aren't north of 30 points we are down. All the winnable games are between Leicester on Sunday and City at the end of February and I have little faith he has the backing of the players or the fans. Moshiri will follow suit hopefully soon.

Moshiri has demonstrated in the past that if the manager loses the dressing room he’s toast.

This is different this time round. He's put all his eggs in the Benitez basket. He deliberately went against the fans to make this appointment and his ego won't allow him to sack him now. That's an obvious admission that he was wrong and I can't see him doing it.

We are in this mess because of Moshiri and his disregard for the fans and values of the clubs. He's not fit to run the club.

And with the turfing of Brands he's literally given the reins to Benitez.

He’s panicked before when he thought we were in danger of being relegated. It would be a massive problem for him if we were so I imagine that while he’ll try to give Benitez time, if results don’t pick up very soon he’ll have no choice.

It was utterly stupid. I’m all for a total overhaul of the club but that should have been a managed transition with the key culprits being moved on at the end of the season and replacements lined up to take over immediately. Was obviously just a move to appease the fans which has not worked.

No, not good, buy him give us the 40+ mill, so he is off our books and that's that.

Have to say do we really want him to go or is this because of the upset with Benitez who wants rid?

I don't want him to go

If Benitez won't play him though then what choice do we really have?

If Benitez is off soon then keep Digne. If Benitez is staying in the job then Digne probably has to be sacrificed

Crap situation like, but there it is

We signed him for £18m when he was a 25-year-old French international at Barcelona. Can't see us getting more than that really.

He wws a backup left back who asked for a move to get more game time.

Since then he's become a well recognised name and his stats are very impressive each season.

I'd expect £30mil+ for him but due to the fall out more realistically £23-25mil which i think we have no choice but to accept.

If Mosh man is considering getting rid of Benitez soon, he should not allow him to buy or sell anyone in the first part of the window. Sign loanees maybe, hopefully he’ll be gone before the window open’s!!
