Quite peculiar seeing Benitez try to push the fans to turn on Digne.

What kind of narrative is he trying to spin here when i guess most all Evertonians know that Digne is a consumate professional.

If I’d done well at work over a period of years for my employer and a new manager came in and told me I was doing it wrong and had to do it his way…. I’d probably tell him I know what I’m doing. If that manager then tried to force me out the job and publicly humiliated me, I probably wouldn’t be inclined to try to help him out when he came crawling back asking to help bail him out the [Poor language removed].

Digne will play due to the crisis , set up an early goal ...then do his ACL thus scuppering any potential deal. He'll be on the books for a few more years collecting a wage in the Toscun will he / wont he play role as he "recovers" and we change multiple managers.
