It makes perfect sense to sell home now while he is worth a few quid. There is no point in keeping him for another 2 years till he is worthless in the situation we are in.

I'm not sure, he always been weak at the defence part, players always ripping past him.

That actually happened to me many years ago. Weeks after the boss persuaded me to stay and gave me a pay rise after I told him I'd been offered another job.

On topic, I think the problem revolves around Benitez forcing Digne to stay at LB when Lucas knows that his best work is done going forward and putting crosses into the goalmouth.

We are getting a 7mil loan fee over 2 years then potentially 30mil. It’s a lot better than 17

Is it definitely an option? I thought it was a done deal if certain targets were hit. Like qualifying for the champions league
