Cancelo is the best left back in the Premier League, he is not getting shifted to right back. Zinchenko is a fine backup. They’re sorted for left backs.
I’m not disputing that cancelo is class, but he was a RB. And you could easily see him move over for Walker.

Just saying what someone said in here last week. And like I’ve said, selling a homegrown player for 100mil should give them loads of room to spend. So far they’ve only spent the 100mil so let’s see.
They did spend money before that though, they spent when they came up, Mings - £30m, Watkins £28m etc.

They're probably not in a position to lump another £100m and get away with it, but still.

I don't see how this is really relevant to Digne though? If Grealish stayed at Villa, it wasn't like the manager wasn't going to play him?

Good luck to the lad, he will be playing CL football by the look of things.

Been a good signing, just hope it’s not another loan deal like the Kean one.

This would not have happened if Moshiri hadn’t appointed the kopite rat.

Digne will go on to win things just like Gana, Barkley, Lukaku etc have all done whilst we slowly death march towards the championship with this Rondon loving, ex Newcastle relegation success, Mr Personality.

Whether it’s a right or left back, I can see them going for a full back far and above Digne’s level in the summer.
Tbf though there aren't actually that many that are available even for City.

Lodi at Atletico is about the same standard as Digne. Theo Hernandez at Milan has had a great year and a half, he has the potential to be top, top level for sure.

They have two of the best full-backs in Europe already, in Walker and Cancelo. The other two best FBs in Europe are probably at Liverpool.

Not making this out like Digne is world class as I don't think he is but there's not tons that are better than him actually that aren't already at the best clubs. I mean, look at PSG, they've not got a great left-back. Bayern play Davies there who is/was a winger and was actually a striker in MLS. Grimaldo from Benfica is a player I think goes under the radar a bit who's probably on par with Digne... For such an important position there's probably only a handful of players who are genuinely world class at it.

Theres not many top left backs around these days...

Also, if you check out the top left backs u23 then theres only half a dozen who are going to be top class. Hard to see (m)any of them being available so Digne looks a good option in the experienced group.

I think Digne will be off to Newcastle or Chelsea and the fee will be £25-30mil.

Newcastle have spent around £15mil down on Trippier with another £10mil in clauses.

I said before £30mil+ is a very good deal. £25mil is ok...below that its disappointing.

So you say this wouldn't of happen if it wasnt for the current manager then give three examples of lost players demonstrating this kind of thing has been happening before Rafael came?
Are you also forgetting Lucas was poor under Carlo? Sometimes players go stale at clubs, and a change is best all around.

As if Moshiri knew who Leicesters head scout or some Dutch outfits DOF was man lol

Kenwrights work that.
So Moshiri signs/signed off on recruitment without doing due diligence himself? Must be really bad businessman, but wait... he's a billionaire ain't he?

And if, mind you a big questionable if, Moshiri did not know who was the head scout of the fairy-tale winner of PL, or the DoF of Eindhoven (they won 7 trophies in his time) was, he has to be one of the most clueless owners in history of Everton.
Realistically, he knew who he was hiring, and you are just a tool in spouting nonsense, so as to try and prove your point...

Hmm, I think I will go for the second option..

Every match we complain that we need to get rid of the majority of our team, admittedly digne isn’t anywhere near the top. But the ones that are near the top aren’t going to make us any money and who would want them anyway! So why keep Digne if he’s been terrible for near enough 2 years. And if these funds cover bringing in some new players, then we have to understand that because that’s where we are.
