Barkley possibly, may have had a problem with Koeman because the manager would not pander to his ego, but as we have seen, Barkley has gone on to prove he is far from a model professional.

4 years at over 100k per week apparently. I have read its as much as 160k, but it cant be that much. Anyhow, they will finish paying his huge wages when he's 35 years old!

Definately don’t want him to go to Newcastle. Would be ridiculous to strengthen them given our position.

Newcastle, will be paying through the roof. Wages, will be amazing. High change of them going down. Wages will be to convince the players to risk going down. They will be running the risk of getting stuck with a lot of dead wood, on stupidly high wages like we are. I doubt Dinge will go there.

I can't agree with the narrative that he's been poor for ages. He's never quite hit the same heights as he did in his first season when he was playing in a set up that suited him better but he's still been an above average top level full back since then yes he has his bad days which he did in his first season too but overall he's definitely not been poor.
