Sure. It happens all the time. But you'd have to be blind am/or deluded to not be able to put together the pieces in this particular case given the history of both the player and the manager.......
It seems like YOU have put together the pieces based entirely on your anti-Benitez agenda.

That's not to say you aren't partly correct, I just highly doubt that either party has covered themselves in glory (and I strongly suspect Digne has seen this as a prime opportunity to get a move he's probably craved since shortly after he put pen to paper).

Manager wants players to follow his tactical instructions and removes players who don’t want to play for the club

Everton fans: get him out.
Hi mate any idea who might have posted this about a previous left back fell out with the manager?

"Baines was the only player man enough to call fraud on el fraudo. He did what was best for Everton. That's why fans held one banner about him, and another one about Martinez. One. Of. Us."

I can give you a clue if you want its the forums second biggest wham talking kopite apologist. Answers on a postcard.

Completely different scenarios. Martinez had had 3 years. That had been a group of players who had played under Moyes and had done well and so the blame was lying with the manager. Baines had said there wasn’t much chemistry which was a polite way of saying it was all going to pit and everyone knew it.

He still shouldn’t have said it though. At the time I probably went overboard just to annoy @davek who apparently I always agree with.

Saying you don’t want to play for the club to a manager after 19 games is entirely different.

Baines had a lot more credit in the bank than Digne also.

The manager is always the boss, you should always support the boss - Saint Domingo.

When he said that Lucas said he wanted to leave, it was a misinterpretation (he’s prone to that) Lucas actually said he doesn’t want to get relegated with the FSW tactics.

You should. Baines should have back then as well. Martinez would have been in his right to punish him for it. I just happened to agree with him then, but he still shouldn’t have criticised his manager on tv.
