I won't do, I think he will have asked to leave. I think the issues are the reason why that is. It seems him and the manager just can't get on. I really don't like the fact we have to pick the manager over the player in this instance. Not because I think Digne is incredible, or unsellable, but because this manager is dreadful and has taken us backwards and will continue to do so. He isn't the manager for the future because even if he somehow turns it around in the short term, he is just too divisive to ever be a manager at a stable club. Yet it's seeing one of our better players leave because they can't see eye to eye. And I worry that once Digne goes, then in a few months' time Benitez will pick a fight with somebody else. It's what he does and has done all of his career, I'm not basing it on conjecture.
Anyway, the best solution is to sell as we are looking to do. My point all along has been the horrific man management and public management from Benitez has left the club in a very weak position, when it comes to bargaining power. We'll see what happens. Sooner it's done the better but I can see this dragging on because potential buyers have all the power.
