He was in training, to be included in the squad against Chelsea - cried off 'ill' for a game the next day.
Bad call from him, we probably wouldn't have risked him playing anyway/potential injury when we need to sell him but Digne cried off.
Not against selling but the fee must be right and I'm not convinced we will get it due to the shambolic way this has been handled by our immature manager

The difference is that Digne has been playing regularly in this league and so the risk is considerably lower than buying a player who has barely played in a completely different league. I agree that we should focus on younger players but there does have to be the odd senior Pro in the squad as well.

If he was as good as he thinks he is, then a top club would be paying for him. They’re not adverse to lashing 50 mill at full backs when they really want them. They just don’t think he’s worth it.
