Carragher was a centre back Dave and Johnson only signed in 2009, he went through about 10 right backs in between arriving and signing Johnson. Kromkamp and Josemi were highlights. Also he deffo should replace Coleman right now as a matter of urgency.

Carragher played right back when Rafael arrived. Rafael moved him to centre back. Rafael's main right back was Arbeloa until Johnson came.

Rafael won't sell Keane. I can't see him selling Gomes or Holgate either.

We should be able to get -
25-30 mil for Digne.
25-30 mil for Pickford.
15-20 mil for Allan.
15 mil for Mina.
10-15 mil for Davies.
1-5 mil for Kenny.
1-2 mil for Tosun.

If push comes to shove we could get 40-60 mil for DCL too.

Sigurdsson, Tosun, Delph, Kenny, Begovic, Lonergan are all available for free in the summer.

We'd get more for Pickford. We'd get less for pretty much everyone else on that list.

Benitez wants speed merchants at the back. IIRC, he wasted no time in replacing Carragher at FB with Glen Johnson when he got to Anfield.

It's been interesting that the player he seems to have been most insistent on encouraging since being here is Godfrey. On the other flank he has Coleman, and he probably knows he's popular and the skipper and shouldn't (just yet) look to replace him. And he's a useful ally.

Digne will make perfect sense in some games when we're on the attack with our tails up and when DCL is in the middle to whip perfect crosses into. But when we're under the cosh we need aggression and speedy FBs to put out fires.

Coleman is a liability, god knows who he’s popular with.

Just on the last 2 games. The killer 3rd goal for Liverpool. Yes we still probably lose if that doesn’t happen but at 2-1 with 5 mins to go you never know.

Couldn’t stop the cross for Arsenals first goal. And with 20seconds to go he lets an Arsenal player waltz past him towards our box, who releases Auybamayang who should score. Why isn’t he bringing him down on the halfway line and taking the free kick and yellow card. Shocking play, by an experienced player.

I hope we get a RB in January and that’s the end of him.

Once possibly, but definitely not enough to know if it would work. Newcastle away last year I think

Digne played left midfield in front of Godfrey a couple of times last year, the win at Wolves was one that I remember.

Digne also has looked so poor playing wing back, he lacks pace and dynamism.

With keepers unless your branded as the world's best, they generally don't command huge fees.

People will point to Ben White but he's 3 years younger than Pickford.

Pickford is a great shot stopper, but he's also unpredictable, loses his head a lot and is inconsistent.
