Lukaku - A Fond Farewell

Did it personally hurt your feelings?
Stop the press - 'Multi Millionaire Footballer With Limited Affinity To Previous Employees Tells Fans To Shush'

If that's goading, then we really are in a PC era of football.
Eh, no it didn't hurt my feelings lol

Lukaku was cheered by those same Everton fans for the last 4 years and he chooses to goad them at the first opportunity. Classy from the man indeed.

The 50 plusses in the Park End are fully to blame for this. My old man didn't rate him either. It was beyond ridiculous. The only world class player I've ever seen us have but he didn't leg himself into a coma often enough for some.

Shame on you all. Hang your heads.

They did the same to Stones...

As I said if thats goading fans were in a PC era of football.

At the same time if you've taken no offence so whats the issue?
Others may have, but you've got to be a very simpleminded person, if that, of all things gets you upset at a football match.

As fans we may as well stop singing as that would be goading the opposition, not very nice.

With all due respect to all posters on here.

Romelu Lukaku is a manchester united player

Romelu Lukaku scores goals, thats what he will do, he has better players at Utd so his weaknesses dont get pointed out as much, so united fans wont care about his work rate etc, at us though it was a detriment to the team.

Stick Lukaku in in our side for our opening fixtures this season and he would be on the same amount of goals as Rooney (may of got a few when we were 2-0 up to Split but hey ho)

He has carried on doing what he has done for us at Utd, turning up in the last 20 minutes when games are won, Rooneys 2 goals this season has won us more points than Lukaku's has for United.

He is gone, we all would of prefered him here yes! But his attitude stank and it would of been counter productive to keep him.

In the same fixtures last season with Rom in our team, he scored a grand total of 1 goal

Our fans boo'd him from the off and celebrated like we had scored when he missed that chance in the first half yesterday so Lukaku had every right to celebrate like that.

He was brilliant for us, gave us so many happy times, yes he did run his mouth at but he is a top player who deserved that move and his performances for us massively outweighs the disrespect he showed.

I'm just glad that we got rid of that horrible rat Sheedy. Remember the totally classless gesture he made to the Kop? I mean those fans had paid his wages for a bit, he wouldn't have been the player he was if it wasn't for them, and then he goes and literally sticks two fingers up to them. Absolutely disgu... what? Oh, we're only supposed to find it unacceptable when we're on the receiving end? My mistake.
