Lukaku - A Fond Farewell

to be honest i'm glad to see the back of him. yesterday was a xlassic Lukaku performance, he did literally nothing all game, save for when we took off our defenders to chase the game he capitalised on the space to grab a poxy third goal. Rooney was much more influential yesterday than Rom would have been if he's been playing for us.

I think the reaction to the wide was relief but hard to tell from TV.

Hopefully he doesn't get the chance to get up to any shenanigans at Goodison.

He's done us all a favour we're talking about him instead of the shambles that has been the start of our season.

He'll come to Goodison, he'll get abuse, it'll fire him up, and we'll be on this very thread arguing over his 2 finger knee slide salute into the Gwladys street.

We should booo the board not Lukaku we let him go cheap, and got their has beens
Like a journo said yesterday Lukaku is Uniteds future Rooney is their past

Great write up from Cascarino this morning just shows what an absolute joke our board are

Arsenal kept Alexis Sanchez, Liverpool turned down more than £100m for Philippe Coutinho, right, and Southampton held on to Virgil van Dijk despite the player threatening to go on strike.

“Those teams deemed their stars to be irreplaceable so they kept hold of them. Lukaku was Everton’s star and he had left by early July.

“I would argue, given his talent, potential and importance to Everton, that Lukaku is worth more than either Sanchez or Coutinho and yet not only did they sell him, it now seems that Everton didn’t even get the market rate for the Belgium striker.

“Even if they had fought to keep him a little longer, then Neymar’s move to Paris Saint-Germain for nearly £200m would have seen Lukaku’s price double.

Cascarinos opinion has never been worth a jot, even amongst fellow pundits and proper journos. Bad witness for your case/agenda.

Who cares his goal and assist don't count anyway,we only lost 2-0

That mcgeady better not celebrate on weds if he scores! So disrespectful if he does, i might cry!!

No agenda, then again that is the usual throw away quote you like to use, and it is not just Cascarino, Mourinho stated he would have paid twice as much a few days ago

I wish we had someone who did nothing all game but bagged every week...

would be interesting to see the reaction if the roles were reversed and it was the ex man united player who scored in an Everton win and acted like that i doubt the home fans would have lapped it up.
