I'd gone off topic slightly by displaying my amazement that Young is even getting a game in the PL.

Well, that's just the thing - even if he'd scored five goals in the last ten games, he'd still have been just as garbage. The performances would have been exactly the same.

His goalscoring has disguised so much for so long in the eyes of people who couldn't see past them and understand he is, quite simply, a poor actual footballer.

Good footballers, when out of form, go back to the basics to get going - Lukaku can't because he doesn't have the basics.
