I sympathise with him. I've spent years telling everyone that Lukaku was overrated and took more than he gave, but nobody listened. It's like being the only guy in the village who sees that the sheriff is a giant cartoon chicken.

Thing is it was easy to be taken in by him when he was here but seeing him fumbling at United and being a laughing stock in the football world you would think would open people's eyes.
Nobody in the football world rates him apart from a small section of fans from a club he once played for, a club he constantly disrespected even while wearing the shirt, far stranger then Kopite behaviour

Ashley Williams isn't a supposed £90m player who's technique has been excused because he is young and is meant to improve.
Either way both players wore the Everton shirt as if they weren't particularly bothered.
I dislike Lukaku immensely. He actually made me realise how small time some of our fans had become. The shouts of "beast" made me cringe.... world class player shouts.... embarrassing.
Across the park that lot had Suarez.... 20 times the player lukaku will ever be. That was the level of player we need to look to buy.... not some 6ft 4 marshmallow who couldn't use his size properly cos he's always been much bigger than kids his own age.
He was indulged.... applauded at goodison after blurting out nonsense about ambition which was a crude attempt at getting himself sold. We do love a good round of applause for self serving mediocrity at goodison.... Bill, Moyes and Rom.....2 of whom threw it back in our faces.
You know the way people are always on their phones typing away instead of watching what it is on TV and only look up when they hear something happen? Like me now....
That's how I think Rom has got away with so much criticism. People only watch him when there is a stirring noise..... 70% of the time when he's jumping underneath balls, getting caught offside, losing possession 40 yards from goal instead of laying of to get in the final third..... they justvatent absorbing what he's done or not done.
He quite frankly doesn't have the minimum standard of footballing ability to do his role for a team. If he could do basic things to a level of a Brian McBride then it would be a platform for him to do his goalscoring. The fact is his footballing ability is way shirt of that.
Nice of you to check but in my short time here I can confirm I have posted in other threads . This is by far my most favourite. Imagine Liverpool fans secretly wishing Raheem Sterling did well at Man city cos they can say "he used to play for us once"..... no I can't either. Like Lukaku he couldn't wait to leave and made No secret of it.
