Lukaku to Spurs

I reckon Traore will be here so:- Traore, Kone, Naismith and a money signing, hopefully Lukaku
I expect Traore to be here next season too. No way we would have kept the loan deal going In the current circumstances, if there wasn't an extension. Same 4 forwards next year would do me fine. Lukaku on a long contract the only change :)

We won't get Traore on loan again imo; if Monaco want to sell him there will be takes for 10m.

We won't get him and Lukaku, but one of them would be good, hopefully the latter.

If we finish 4th then he'll have a big, big decision to make. Providing Martinez wants him. We'd be giving him exactly what he wants, he'd be taking a risk going back to Chelsea.

I think we'll sign Lukaku, and I think there will be a clause in his contract for £40m or so, so that in a year or two he wants to move on after proving himself regularly then a big club can pay the money - and it's been proven that Everton can attract the attention of mega clubs when players do well, so he's in the best environment to progress to the top over the next five years. And I'd be fine with that.

I think at this stage the only thing preventing it happening will be if Bill tries to pay on the drip.

If he didnt honestly want to stay, and why would he not want to to stay, maybe him saying he might or would stay if we got top 4 was a back up to get away,as in him not expecting us to get there. I want him to stay-if he goes and someone else comes in they might not end up as good as what lukaku as done at times.

If we sign him I an certain Chelsea will want a buyback option. I wouldn't go less than 50 million though if he continues to improve, plus he would have to want to leave us in that eventuality. Contracts are very complex these days!

If he does go back then Ba is done at Chelsea and if the rumours that Martinez initially asked about him then he might be interested.
I'd prefer Lukaku but Ba, Kone, Naismith, (probably) Traore and then Chris Long or another youngster would be a decent attack.

If we paid them say £18 mil and he signed a 5 year deal with Chelsea having the option to buy him back for say £28 mil after 3 years, I'd be happy with that as long as it's done buy the end of July that season or the clause expires. We would get £10 mil for developing him over 3 years and would have a tidy sum to replace him with. If Chelsea didn't take up the option or we would have got him at a good price, at this stage we would be looking to get him signed on a new contract.

Edit - Chelsea's option would also depend on Lukaku wanting to go back, hopefully we will be challenging for the title and he will want to stay:)

£17m up front, £5m in installments is what i reckon we'd pay and what they'd accept. Even then they'd be making a profit on the lad due to the 2 loan fees they have received plus the transfer. With him only play 10 games for Chelsea theres absolutely no chance Anderlecht have received the add ons.

Apparantly, Atletico is now interested in Lukaku. A deal involving Costa and Courteois might be in the making.

Ba was moaning at a Chelsea training run about losing some money at the casino and Jose overheard him and told him to "stop bleating about getting fleeced". When Ba replied "I was only joking", Jose responded "ewe can't pull the wool over my eyes"!

Costa has a buy out in his contract, can't see chelsea giving him two players who are worth a shed load more than that buyout is, move on
