Lukaku to Spurs

It looks like Lukaku just needed that little bit of rest after not been use to starting games,the injury has recharged him-though he was not to good for over a month before his injury to be fair as well, and he's come back scoring like he did at the start of the season
 
We should buy him before the World Championship. He's gonna lead the Belgian attack now that Benteke is injured, and I can see him score some goals over there. Each goal will raise his price!
 
I think it depends on if Mourinho sees us as a threat or if him selling us lukaku will be good business with the points we'd be taking of the other top teams. I said this before but I think it would be good if we could buy lukaku and have a buy back clause in it for Chelsea so jose doesn't look like a total fool selling him to us and his ego wont be completely dented. Hopefully by then Chelsea have bought a top striker and lukaku wouldn't wanna return and be part time striker.

That is my delusional dream events for us signing him and having a boss young core of a side.

I don't think it's delusional mate. Chelsea will sign a world class striker cavani or costa is my guess. Wouldn't supprise me if they signed both or 1 and 1 other. Think both Torres and Ba will be out the door, he may keep Etto as backup again.

Lukaku although a better goal getter than anything they have currently I don't think is at a level Jose would trust him as No.1 striker for a season (he still needs work on his all round game) lukaku for his part won't wanna be a bit part player....

I think a Everton deal, with a buy back clause makes the most sense to all parties.

I'd say that's very unlikely while Mourinho is there. Like he's shown with Mata recently and with other good players in the past, if your face don't fit your out the door. For whatever reason Lukaku's not fancied there
 

May be being bias here, but why would he leave us to go to Spurs?

Chelsea are in for Costa apparently, so can't see Jose wanting him, City and Liverpool won't want him either, so that leaves us Spurs and Arsenal, got to be us hasn't it!?
 
This is why CL is so big for us, not just for our European Tour but attracting players.

Lukaku, Barkley, Coleman, Stones all happy playing CL so should stay, also attracting players like Batshuayi is more possible in CL.

Mourinho didn't really know him overly well when he came in and he had three senior strikers ahead of him.

Those three senior strikers are all now out of favour while Lukaku has been turning in performances for us. He'll get a shot with Chelsea next season as the number 2 striker behind whichever £50b star they choose to target.

It's incredibly hard to see a situation where he ends up back here. An outright purchase is simply out of our reach.
