Lukaku to Spurs

Bony would be my ideal replacement for Rom if he doe leave, although I can't see Swansea selling for less than £18 mil. at least.

Think about it this way, Bony cost £12 mil, as did McCarthy. We wouldn't sell McCarthy for £15 mil would we, so I can't see Swansea flogging their best player for 2-3 mil more than they bought him for after the season he's had.

Remy would be another possibility, but I reckon he'll be back in London at either Arse, Spurs, or even Chelsea.

bony strikes me as quite an arrogant guy who would hand in a transfer request as soon as a much better club came in for him.

Not worth anything over 15m

His touch for a player priced at 20m+ is one of the worst Ive seen

i think within 2/3 years of being here, we would be looking at double that fee as a possible sale tbh. think he's a monster, he'll work on his touch eventually, only weak part to his game i think. with a proper ACM behind him, he'd have to do less back to goal stuff and it would be less of a problem as well.

Chelsea is more likely to sell us Lukaku than Swansea to sell us Bony. Doesn't make sense to me.

I wouldn't be so sure, I read quotes from Garry Monk in one of papers today saying he'd never stand in the way of a player wanting to move on and progress there career, that after Bony was quoted as saying he'd like to play CL football someday

Agree, would also like to point out that even though he can be rubbish with a player on his back, the fact is that when he's playing, the other team typically has to dedicate one of their CBs to defending him. And even then he can open up channels, the way he did to set up that chance for Naisy today.

He always scares the faeces out of the opponents' defense whic creates options for the Barkleys, Naismiths and Mirallases of our team! So even when is bad, he is useful.

yeah, the knock down in the first half when naismith smashed the volley over the bar? that was utterly terrible defending mind you.

Lukaku wasnt brilliant we all agree.

However

1.Won a Pen
2.Created 2 chances for Naismith which he should have scored
3.Ruined Jones over, and over again

He needs to sign for us, he loves it! He was geeing the fans up, as was Mirallas when he was taking the corners.

It will all depend on whether Rom wants to stay.

Chelsea will sell him to us we will meet there price (or agree to one) and Rom will decide.. IMO

If he comes great awesome signing If he decides not to great lets spend 15m plus on another top top striker.

think theirs something about the belgium lads that they really seem to revel in the playing as well mate, add a couple more imo ;p

If we dont get Lukaku, I would live us to go for Wellfried Rice. He's so boss overall, and it's only his first season in England.

Very much an unpolished gem but considering his size, age, skill, strength & speed he's no question one of the most promising young strikers in Europe...And so that sort of player will come at a premium in terms of fee since there are so few players of his potential or combination of attributes

He's not even 21 yet, I think that has to sink in a bit...Think of the great strikers in the game and how their prime really didn't occur until their late 20s...At times it can be a thankless position to be playing that lone CF position, constantly battling physical CBs and waiting for the occasional ball while sprinting back & forth...I find it's a difficult position to become great at and so while many of us can see his faults, I believe too few appreciate how much potential he has

If you're going to pay a premium for a young potential star at CF who has few peers in terms of their intangibles, who other than Lukaku will deserve it?...For all the mistakes he can make, he's a big reason Everton are having a great season
