I think in terms of strikers it really is horses for courses, strikers will perform differently in different systems. For example, I dont think Sturridge would score half the goals for everton what he has scored in that liverpool system. Hopefully this is where Kone might surprise a few as at least we know he is tried and tested in a Martinez system.

Lukaku situation will be very interesting this summer.

He is not good enough to be starting for Chelsea so he won't be happy with that.
For our budget he isn't worth the 20+ million being quoted in the papers. He could be if his all round play and touch improves but he doesn't use his size and strength well at all and always looks knackered.
He has not reminded me even slightly of Drogba. Very different players.
for me as the season ends overall he has been more like the young Emile Heskey at Leicester. He was an excellent young player but he regressed with age rather than improve on his raw talent. He struggled to stay on his feet and never used his strength fully. He could be explosive one week and utterly infuriating the next.

I would like us to take a chance on Rom but a valuation is difficult to judge.
Excellent versus Arsenal, utterly turgid today and poor last weekend. He should have scored at least 4 in the Goodison derby.
