Lukaku to Spurs

It's obvious he'd want to stay, everything about Everton is positive at the moment. We'd have to offer him a contract he wants but Martinez wouldn't say 'signing him is a priority' if it wasn't on the cards.

I am really not sure how you say "It's obvious", not me but I wonder what others think?

I think he'd stay if he had a release fee included in his contract, and I think we'd keep him at best for two years. I wouldn't mind this if the fee is reasonable and the profit we make is substantial, but there's a question mark about both of those things.

The problem Lukaku had this season is that when his form dropped, or his energy levels, we had nobody to replace him with. He couldn't be dropped. Kev, Barkley, Deulofeu, McGeady, Osman, Naismith were all rotated based on form. There was nobody to come in a challenge Lukaku's position.

I'd take him back on a perm, easily. Don't care how much it would cost us. The boy is 20 years old, and spearheading the attack for the 5th placed Premier League side and his national side at the WORLD CUP. Scary amount of potential.

It's not obvious to you how positive things are at our club right now? Everyone (fans/player/media) have praised us this year and most blues get more optimistic every time Martinez says 'phenomenal'.
We can afford him as long as Chelsea don't act like bells over the fee. But his contract is running down so I doubt they'll hold out for an unrealistic fee.

He is a professional footballer who quite simply cant control the F""""" thing, why on earth would we want to sign him. Good judge od a player is that Mourinho

Lukaku, as others have alluded to, has been made to look worse than he is due to a few things:

1) NO competition. We've been very unlucky here as Kone got a freak injury and basically hasn't featured all season. And then Traore, who most were pretty excited about signing, played 45 minutes and got injured for the rest of the season too.
2) As a consequence of 1, he's had to play 90 minutes every single game. He's 20. He has never done that and rightfully has looked knackered. On top of that he weighs about 3.5 tons, and hasn't fully grown into a Distin-esque hunk who can control his gargantuan body.
3) He is 20. 20. Out of the top 20 PL goalscorers, he is the youngest. The next youngest is 23 and that man is Eden Hazard. The next are 24 (Sturridge and Jay Rodriguez). In the respective season at Rom's age, Sturridge scored 0 goals in 13 PL appearances.

I want us to throw everything at him. He is a good player, and will become a great one. On top of that he is a physical marvel that can give us something few else can.

Because he's behind only Van Persie and Suarez in Premier League goals scored since the start of last season. And he's 20 years old.
