I think this means that Lukaku/His agent can see that we're a more ambitious club now and that we've evolved from a club once happy just to escape the relegation battle. Would definitely take it as a compliment - saying we're a changed club.

Lukaku has said that he wants to be playing CL football and Spurs could yet end up without Europe of any description. Apparently Levy offered Adebayor in a swap deal for Romelu during the summer but Chelsea weren't interested. Tottenham will also have a stadium to pay for and I can't see them making a big-ticket purchase unless they offload someone like Adebayor, Soldado or Lamela. A lot will depend on who their manager is too.

I'd have thought that Romelu would have preferred to stay in London but, by choosing West Brom and Everton when he has had offers from clubs such as West Ham, it shows that he's making decisions for footballing reasons.

His agent seems to be fishing around for the best deal. On a positive note it would appear to indicate that he's likely to leave Chelsea. He seems to be getting at whether we will be a flash in the pan or whether we will consolidate our position and regularly challenge the top 4.

yes, bentekes injury actually sealed it. Lukaku will slot like crazy at WC and big boys will snatch him. They wont sign with everton before wc cause they know successful wc is a goldmine for both of them (luk & his agent)
