Lukaku. Yes or no

You are right .... It is boring and sad. Grown men supporting a player who spent half his time here pimping himself up for a move away. The same fans looking for reasons to slate DCL, a player who had dedicated himself to the club and his profession to be as good as he can.

Pretty pathetic really.
Do we have to hate Richarlison or DCL if they leave? Or am I allowed to support whichever players I choose outside of the club?

Never once slated Dom

Rom is a goal machine.
Does what it says on the tin.

We all know he will score 20+ goals, but still the one match where they needed him to make a difference this season he didn't. Let's see how he gets on against city and utd.

While this is true, you have to look at the Liverpool game through the prism of them going down to 10 men. Prior to that his movement was encouraging and he wasn't shirking the game like he did nearly every other time in a big game.

The jury is out but there's quite clearly a difference in how he's approaching games. He doesn't look the flat track bully he did previously because he's getting success by doing things on the pitch that would work against better defences.

I've been his strongest critic but I have no qualms whatsoever about saying that he looks like he's improved through his experience in Italy dramatically. What we need to see now is proof that improvement can be applied in England consistently, including against 'proper' teams.

Agreed but he has to show that, the world cup games indicate he still gets stage fright on the biggest occasions. It should be a simple fix - go and put away all the chances of a player of his calibre should in an important match and from that point on the problem might not exist. He wasn't bought to sink teams like Villa.

Still looks a notch off top class for me personally very good player but not in the top shelf tbf not many strikers are

He can be very good without being Lewandowski/Messi/Ronaldo like. My criticism of him is and was never based on him reaching those standards - it was about him being as useful as a chocolate teapot in games that mattered because he'd be marked out of them with absurd ease, so you couldn't rely on him except to bulldoze weaker sides as a flat track bully.

Honestly mate, not sure it is now.

He's a ridiculously good player these days. He regressed at United because Mourinho and then OGS tried to play him as a target man and his heart wasn't in it in the second season.

He was immense in Italy in a very technical league and scored big goals in big moments. Scored 24 league goals and 11 assists last season, that's on Kane level.

Totally agree that he at times failed to deliver for us in big moments, but he's the complete package now.

Not Lewandowski level, and I'd still rank Kane just that bit better than him, but Rom is right, right up there in terms of forwards.

We don't know yet, because he failed to deliver in big moments for three different clubs in England.

Italy is tailor made for certain players. You have Ciro Immobile scoring a goal a game when my personal view is he'd probably struggle to get 10-15 in England. It's almost a completely different sport in terms of how it's played.

But my feeling is being able to demolish lightweights in that league has gave him a ton of confidence and he now feels like he can influence games constantly, whereas in England he seemed to go into a shell after being bullied himself in bigger games so often. So the jury is certainly still out on him in England.
